About this trigram
Dui stands for the lake: pleasure and good talk. People with Gua 7 are traditionally called Dui-life.
Gua 7's four favourable directions are northwest, southwest, northeast and west.
Traditional use
Dui life is sociable: tradition sets the resting corner by the Stability direction, for quiet and recovery. Your directions can be worked out on the Character Card.
Direction groupings are a traditional Eight Mansions reference, not a rule; safety, comfort and practical needs come first in the home.
