About this trigram
Li stands for fire: light and warmth. People with Gua 9 are traditionally called Li-life.
Gua 9's four favourable directions are east, southeast, north and south.
Traditional use
Li life loves the light: tradition keeps the home bright and the everyday seat facing a favoured direction. To find your Gua, build a Character Card.
Direction groupings are a traditional Eight Mansions reference, not a rule; safety, comfort and practical needs come first in the home.
