Traditional character
Pig people are easy-going and honest, broad-minded and uncalculating. In tradition the Pig means ample food and clothing; the lower half of the old character for 'home' is 'pig', a mark of how close the pig is to the household.
In company, Pig people are generous and forgiving, and friends like being near them.
Customs and getting along
The folk paper-cut of a plump pig pushing at the door means wealth arriving — a common New Year picture.
With Pig people, easy and unforced is best; they don't haggle, and enjoy the same open-handedness in others.
